DDS, PhD Periodontology, Assoc. Prof. at Istanbul University School of Dentistry, Board member of the Turkish Society of Periodontology

Assoc. Prof. Ali Cekici was born in Istanbul in 1977. He has graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000. He received his PhD degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology in 2007. He completed his two-year post-doctoral research at The Forsyth Institute in Boston, USA in 2012. He is working as an Associate Professor at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology since 2014. He has been a board member of the Turkish Society of Periodontology since 2014, where he still serves as the General Secretary of the Society. He has served as the Ambassador of Turkey for the EuroPerio9 and EuroPerio10 Congresses. He is a member of the Scientific Affairs Committee of the European Federation of Periodontology.
