Abstract

In the last 2 decades since miniscrews have entered the mainstream orthodontic practice, there have been many publications regarding the position and site of miniscrew placement to achieve optimal treatment outcomes. The placement of miniscrews in the palate has been shown to have many advantages. This presentation will demonstrate different options for using palatal miniscrews to achieve desired tooth movements in the anterior-posterior, vertical and transverse dimensions.
